I promised I would use this blog to keep you up to date with
what I am doing. Well this week has been a strange week in the world of
Writeitfeelit.
Well I have produced another video blog Commitment which you can find
on my YouTube page which was going smoothly with great feedback until a
follower decided to just read the thumbnail instead of watching the video. You
probably thinking where is the problem, the video contained inspiration tips on
how to use newspapers for poetry and stories and an example I had made.
I thinking that people would read the bold newspaper heading
which was the poem and not the bit I hadn’t cut out properly (won’t be making
this mistake again) this person took the part they had read out of context and
posted a comment. I lulled over it and left it until someone else said that they
thought what I had initially thought but dismissed. I removed the comment and
let it go.
I thought this was the end until the next day someone had
posted my Vlog on their internet newspaper with the comment as the title. (now
you can hear me cringing possibly crying) I said to the person who was a
twitter follower at the time that the information was wrong, they replied you must
have spelt something wrong and they we not in charge of the content. (Yeah then
I was lost) I asked who was in charge and I got no reply and was unfollowed. Yes
I unfollowed back after Re Tweeting the letter which subsequently diverted any
clicks on the link to my blog and I deleted the Vlog from my poetry site. Would
you like to play spot the poor cutting out go and see it on my Youtube account and
please watch to the end if you going to waste your time clicking.
So this was my first bitter experiences as a writer which
has knocked my confidence. However I have posted a new poem yeah I hear you
say, here is the link

Have any of you had
an experience that has left you deflated and not wanting to write? How did you
overcome this?
Have you been misquoted? Let me know I would love to here.
Thanks for reading or half reading ( yeah going to be bitter
for a while)
Kirsty
